How to File a DMCA Notice
Send your notice to [email protected] with the subject line: DMCA Notice.
Your notice must include the following:
- Your contact information — full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
- Description of the copyrighted work — identify the work you believe has been infringed
- Location of the alleged infringing material — provide specific URLs or identifiers where the content can be found
- A statement of good faith — confirm that you believe the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement of accuracy — confirm that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Your signature — physical or electronic
Why You Can't Just Change It in the App or website
Before getting into the steps on how to change email in Tivimate, it helps to understand why this process exists.
Tivimate ties your premium license directly to your registered email address. That email is the identifier that proves you own the subscription. It’s what grants you access across your devices and what gets verified every time you log in through the TiviMate Companion app.
Because of this, they don’t let users change the email on their own — doing it incorrectly could break your subscription, or worse, someone could use it to hijack your account. So all email changes have to go through their team manually.
It’s a bit of an inconvenience, but the process is straightforward once you know what to do.
Review Process
We review all DMCA notices within 48 hours of receipt. Valid notices will be forwarded to the relevant third-party provider for action. We will follow up with you once your notice has been processed.
False Claims Warning
Submitting a false DMCA claim is a serious legal matter. Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be held liable for damages. If you are unsure whether your claim is valid, we recommend consulting a legal professional before submitting.
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was wrongly removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification to [email protected] with the subject line: DMCA Counter-Notice.
Your counter-notification must include:
- Your contact information — full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your area
- Your signature — physical or electronic
